In the injection molding condition setting, the difference between the setting of the injection process and the holding pressure process is the switching between the screw stroke and the timer. In both processes, the speed and pressure are set, but the injection process is speed control and the dwell process is the pressure control process. In order to achieve a high injection speed, a certain pressure is required accordingly. If the pressure setting value is low even at the set injection speed, the power will be insufficient and the set speed cannot be achieved. Even in the injection process, if the pressure set value is lowered, the pressure control will be limited in speed by the pressure. The dwell process is pressure control, but the same can be said for the dwell process. If the switching to the holding pressure is much earlier than the full filling of the product where there is still enough space for the molten resin to enter the cavity, if the speed setting of the holding pressure process is set slower, the filling speed will also be the set speed, and the pressure does not reach to the set pressure.
A high speed requires a large pressure and a slow speed does not require a large pressure, so pressure control is not performed even in the dwelling process, and it resulted to be a speed control.
If these relationships are not fully understood, it resulted not only be able to fully perform the capabilities of the machine, but also the molding will be unstable, so it is important to set the conditions after fully understanding.
