We interviewed President Akimoto of the company that is a professional molder with high technology and thorough quality control.
Q.What is your company profile?

It was started in 1974 when the former president changed from the casting industry to the plastic manufacturing industry. Mainly produced products related to cosmetics and industrial parts.
After that, we introduced a 3D CAD system and a 3D measuring device for the first time as a specialized molder in order to handle products with extra-fine, extra-long and thin-walled shapes. Utilizing these tools, we carry out product design and verification using our own molding know-how and mold design and verification so that to respond quickly to customer requests.
In 2002, in response to an increase in orders for medical applications, a new factory with a clean room of less than 10,000 class was built, and a production system was established that could handle products that require a sanitary environment.
Only 6 months after the kick-off, ISO9001 certification has been obtained, and medical device manufacturing approval has been obtained, guaranteeing the quality of the products.
Currently, we are meeting a variety of needs, from pharmaceuticals and biotechnology to plastic containers for food and plastic products. In particular, it is good at slender, thin, and non-tapered ones.
Also, based on our unique molding and mold know-how based on our experience, we have been proactively proposing VA / VE especially for users in the medical field, and have been highly evaluated.
Q.What are the characteristics of your technology?

There are three characteristics of product design and mold design. The first is that it is possible to design products and molds using the knowledge and experience and know-how of special-grade plastic molding technicians. The second is that they can be converted into data using the latest 3D CAD and verified, including flow analysis. The third is that we can quickly provide optimal proposals that meet customer needs through a wide network of university laboratories, molding machine manufacturers, and resin manufacturers.
By making full use of these elements, it is possible to realize products that satisfy users.
Q.How do you use 3D technology?

By utilizing our unique know-how and 3D-CAD technology, we will provide unrivaled development efficiency and quality. Even for products that are difficult to understand on a two-dimensional screen, it is possible not only to obtain information on the appearance, cross-sectional shape, volume, weight, etc. of the product on the screen but also it is possible to design with high-degree completion by various simulations.
In addition, it is possible to verify molds and molded products by making full use of the world’s highest level 3D measuring device made in Germany. As a result, high-quality products can be manufactured using high-precision plastic injection molds. In this way, we have a system that can fully support customers from product design to mass production launch.
Q.Please tell us about clean rooms of class 10000 or less.

Safety is a top priority in the medical and food industries. Therefore, state-of-the-art molding machines are installed in a clean room controlled to class 10,000 or less, and strict quality control is implemented. We have earned the trust of our customers by manufacturing products in the medical industry under Class 10000 and products in the food industry under Class 100,000 in a controlled sanitary environment.
Q.I heard a special grade plastic molding technician is enrolled.

Special-grade plastic molding technician is an advanced national qualification that only about 100 people have acquired in Japan. A wide range of knowledge is required, such as quality control, cost control, and process control, as well as expertise in plastics. Our company has two employees and boasts the highest level of enrollment rate in Japan. We produce high-quality products by quickly fulfilling our customers’ requests with reliable technology backed by our abundant knowledge and experience.

Utilizing medical plastic molding technology, we are actively conducting VA / VE for customers who are interested in cost reduction and productivity improvement. We will value the provision of high value-added products to our customers.
Utilizing a clean room managed under class 10000, we manufacture, assemble, package and sterilize plastic consumables such as plastic parts for medical devices, reagent containers, tips, tubes, etc., and aim to increase orders both in Japan and overseas.
Utilizing the abundant knowledge and experience of special-grade plastic molding technicians, 3D technology, and a wide network, we will achieve quality that meets needs at a reasonable price and in the shortest lead time. We will dedicate to be a one-of-a-kind company that shines brilliantly.
